The QR code opens your public Contactable token. The person scanning it can send a message through the site. They do not see your owner link, your database record, or your real contact details.
This is useful when a QR code needs to sit somewhere visible: a parcel, event badge, local poster, noticeboard, marketplace item, car window, lost property label, or printed instruction sheet.
Why not put your number inside the QR code?
A phone number in a QR code can be saved, forwarded, indexed by accident, or reused long after the original reason has ended. A Contactable QR code points to a temporary route instead, so you stay in control.

Share words as a backup
If someone cannot scan the QR code, give them the three words as well. They can type the words into Contactable and reach the same private message page.
